Snorkel has a 40 cm long tube and its oval shape has a diameter of 4 cm and 2 cm. The Mad Wave swim snorkel has a one-way valve down, which facilitates the exhalation of the water that flies into the snorkel by accident or in the flip turn (sommersault type). Thanks to the valve, the water can be breathen through the shorter way down and not up through the entire long tube. Upon exhalation, the valve closes immediately to prevent more water from entering the tube. It really works with this snorkel, it just needs practice. I had to breathe out after a break, a little water always stayed in the snorkel stayed. But after a few turns I learned the exhalation and it was easier.
At faster turns, the snorkel vibrate a little, but it did not ruin the enjoyment of swimming. I especially appreciate the precise grooves and fuse for fixing the tube and the front bracket. Thanks to that snorkel held in place without turning. I recommend front snorkels to everyone who wants to improve swimming technique but especially to those who want to diversify their swimming training.
